Happy Easter, happy reflection, happy release and happy resurrection.
The date chosen for Easter each year is governed by the moon, Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday after the Full Moon and has its traditions based in Pagan times. Easter stories date back before Christianity to Old English, Old Saxon, Old Germanic times, where the pagan goddess Eostre, Ostara or Eastre were celebrated, ushering the arrival of Spring. These are the stories of life and rebirth, renewal, stories of triumph over suffering, stories of faith and hope associated with the arrival of Spring, but we in the Southern Hemisphere ushering in the arrival of Autumn, so our stories could be ones of reflection, of recognition, of release and resurrection.
Life has a habit of reminding us what is important and also what is no longer sits well with where we are now, with who we are now, with who we have evolved into. We are reminded of desires we had and want we’d like now, it reminds us of times of change and how they evolved us. Your past is a part of you, you carry it with you, it’s a right of passage and has shaped who you have become, reflecting on the past will stir up long forgotten desires and perhaps ignite something deep within you, that still calls to be realised. Maybe in the course of reflection you realise this stirs within you, it’s flame is reignited within you, this is a rebirth that empowers you and there is no denying it’s existence, it is resurrecting within you. There is a vibrancy to it, an urge to bring it forth, to carry it in your consciousness, carry it with you. When something resurrects in your life, it calls for recognition, wanting to be realised and perhaps this is the time you see it in your future, perhaps this time you are able to devote yourself to it’s cause, and perhaps it is the change you are seeking. Perhaps you are looking for more meaning or more purpose in your life, know it calls to you for a reason, sit with it, figure out what it is saying, explore what is possible, maybe this is where you feel most fulfilled, maybe it’s meant for you now and it’s fits you, you wear it well.
Imagine living this life, imagine how it makes you feel, there is a message here, can you see it if you look, do you believe you can do this, live this life, do you believe in you? When you believe in what you are doing, when you believe in your ability to create, you can create a life you are happy living, when you follow where your desire take you, you create opportunities that excite you and you can create a future where you feel more fulfilled. This future is where you belong, surrounded by people who are your people, doing what fulfil you, doing what you belong doing where you belong doing it, this is a future worth investing in. If destiny beckons change, why not follow where it leads, why not live your life the way you want to live, you have the ability to create such a life. If a deep desire resurrects itself within you, if it still calls to you, why not do something with it and see where it takes you. Remember only you want what you want, only you do what you do the way you do it, only you can be you.
Happy Easter, take some time out to enjoy what rises within you, give yourself permission to explore what life could be, because you are rising, reconsider and resurrect the parts of you that still want to be realised.
